(35,731 posts)They are so unabashedly for themselves. Everything they do is for self-gain. One can't even apply the term "sociopath" to them, because they're all that way.
Oh yes, they can see another point of view, but it is not the norm. I recall one time when I was visiting my brother. I rescued a black lab who someone had abandoned and chained up in the cold. I found him a nice, warm house and poured an entire bag of dog food out on the kitchen floor so he could amuse himself overnight. The next day I found him a new home.
Well, that was an enormously taxing experience for me. It took a lot to arrange all that in one night. My brother's cat consoled me by combing my hair with his paws.
Then he asked for a treat.

Cats are no friends of demagogues like Trump; can't bully them or boss them around.
P.S. For all we know, the cats in that photograph are referring to Trump as well as Santa.
