If you were in the zombie apocalypse...

... and driving down an empty, narrow two lane road, would you drive on the right hand side of the road? Or would you take to the middle?

Just noticed this incongruity on Walking Dead. This season, when Rick was driving down a long, narrow road, he drove on the right side. I wondered why. After two years out into the apocalypse, wouldn't the need to adhere to the old rules subside?

Personally, I'd drive down the middle and make sure I was with someone named Otis.

I bet the kids coming up would drive closer to the middle. But, unless there's a compelling reason to stay towards the middle, us oldies would stick with what we know.

EDIT: I wonder if the character senses that the actor playing him is English, and that's why he stays to the left.
