If you can believe it, not everyone is a cat person. Actually, I was not always a cat person, either. Growing up with severe cat allergies prevented me from falling in love with most cats.
As an adult, I figured I would not like cats at all, until my little Whiskers showed up. Although I was still slightly allergic, the love this kitty provided was well worth a few sniffles. These guys were all avid non-cat people until they were forced to go visit a feral cat rescue and got to play with some adorable kittens. At first, they were skeptical; but once these little kittens worked their magic on these manly men, they were like putty in the kittens’ paws. Did you know that cats actually can release a hormone to make you feel maternally about them? It’s their secret weapon in their arsenal of cuteness.
