buried our vega yesterday and not only is tomorrow my sweet fat cat's first angel day, it'll mark eight years since we buried one of my grandmothers.

gotta cry it out tonight.

It always hurts so much to lose a furry buddy.

I got Raven (my black cat) 2 months after my tuxedo lady "Lucky" died, in 2014 after Christmas.

I still miss Lucky, and before her Erin my tabby male, and a previous tuxedo, "Patches."

nearly 18 but we always figured she'd be the last one standing among her mom and sister, instead she was the first to go.

Our kitty boys, Mouse and Simba, have been gone now since 2009 and 2012 and we still talk about both of them all the time. They were family--for 14 and 17 years--so of course
we grieve them the way we would any family.
