(46,318 posts)It always hurts so much to lose a furry buddy.
I got Raven (my black cat) 2 months after my tuxedo lady "Lucky" died, in 2014 after Christmas.
I still miss Lucky, and before her Erin my tabby male, and a previous tuxedo, "Patches."

(24,146 posts)it feels good but doesn't make me feel much better. the love and the missing is just crushing me right now, but the husband is being here for me in his own sweet way and that makes it more bearable.
thank you

(31,382 posts)Our kitty boys, Mouse and Simba, have been gone now since 2009 and 2012 and we still talk about both of them all the time. They were family--for 14 and 17 years--so of course
we grieve them the way we would any family.
Hugs for you.

It is so, so hard. You and I both have too much experience burying our kittehs.
Be good to yourself.

(51,308 posts)I've buried so many fur babies. It's never, ever easy.
Be happy you had that sweet cat and know that he/she is roaming free over the rainbow bridge.
