My cat, like most cats, is pretty blasee about most things.. BUT... I bought her some new treats called
"Temptations Tumblers"....(No I don't work for the company.lol) they are tiny little round things. Now, every morning
when I go to the back door, she makes a beeline and starts jumping up on the door and meowing like a maniac !
Then she jumps up on the outside table, where her new treats are, and butts her head against the box....still meowing at the top of her lungs. I can barely get the container open before she attacks those little buggers. WEIRD!

(3,702 posts)I respond the mostly quickly to jumping on my face, followed by loud meowing and then possibly incessant pawing. But our cat has found his tried and true training method is a cold paw on the cheek.
Sometimes I even get a reward - like purring!!

(16,390 posts)I got the salmon flavor. She doesn't chew them though, she just swallows them whole. I told her they were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside but she didn't listen.

(21,925 posts)Why do cats love them so much? They start to recognize the crunchy sound of the bag and come running.

(24,079 posts)...over arugula. Any time we put together a salad, he is right there, waiting for his greens, and he pounces on the leaves with great gusto. He, too, knows the sound of the crackly plastic bag.

(27,677 posts)They go absolutely nuts. All they need is to hear the bag rattling and they come running from anywhere in the house.
Here's my favorite. I know your're not supposed to have favorites but I do...

(50,130 posts)It's very, very hard to break that.
The other weird habit is that she will not drink water from a bowl, but only from the running faucet in the bathroom sink. This is quite tedious. !!

(50,130 posts)...and it is really hard to figure this out. Luckily I am not away from home for long periods of time. I might suspect a cat would drink out of the toilet when desperate, but that is not the case.

(16,390 posts)I was just about asleep when I heard a crinkling noise. My kitteh brought the package of Temptations up on the bed for me to open! She often brings her toys to bed, but never food. This is hysterical. She carried it all the way upstairs. I just gave her a couple and now I have to hide the package.
