of USMC in Vietnam began. That was the 10,000 day war. Today's USMC has it much worse. Worse than my dad and the 604th Platoon USMC in the Solomons. Worse than my uncle, a combat USMC BAR vet that was at Iwo. Worse than my Lance Corporal first cousin that did 26 months near Khe Sahn and shared the scalps and ear necklace with me. I knew I would have done the same in 1965. My cousin committed suicide in the 1980's.

This one's for you Ken.

I wonder why the Gilligan's Island crew did that video but I'm glad they did. I remember when I first heard the song "War" as a kid riding in a car with my dad and it prompted a discussion about the war. The song made a big impression on me. So sorry about the loss of your cousin.
