Describe movie endings that don't work if you just tune in at the last scene.

My absolutely favorite spoiled endings are the horror movies. Because you did not invest the time getting to know the characters or understanding the ghostly fright effects, the endings are almost always laughable. And many of these horror movies do end with that quick 5 or 10 second fast reveal. You know the one. The person walks in the room and the look on their face is supposed to let you know that the terror she thought she escaped is still with her. Only, you don't really know what she's looking at so it always fall flat as an ending.

That's my contribution.

The Usual Suspects
Body Heat

None of those last scenes would make a bit of sense if you hadn't seen the whole movie.

It's a good movie wth a delicious reveal.

As an aside, it was when I was googling for a shot from the movie's police lineup that I stumbled upon this...
