(1,232 posts)then chewed them all up one by one.
It was a wireless keyboard, left on the bed. My bad.
He ate 2 wireless mice also. He's 3 now, and doesn't do naughty things any more, bless his lil heart. I think this mouse still has chew marks on it from back in the day.
He was very sorry though, and completely apologetic.

(1,232 posts)Metro and the buses in Paris with me. His first year he was obsessed with finding any filthy and disgusting hairball, human detris and piece of garbage he could, from under the seats, and VERY proudly showing it to me and everyone else paying attention.
On the streets he was a total trash hound too. He loved finding plastic bottles and carrying them down the street, and dropping them at the feet of the sidewalk sweeping guys, very sure he was helping out. He got thanked more than a few times.
He ate holes in my favorite blankets too.... But, he's a perfect little man now. He's 3 years this month, and truly one of the finest dogs I've ever known.

(46,705 posts)Some dogs seem to get it faster than others. The other day I saw this young man walking on the sidewalk with a pup properly healing without a leash. It was a busy intersection so it caught my eye. The pup couldn't have been more than ten weeks old. It showed no interest in exploring its surroundings. It was too busy staying properly on the left side of its master, in a comfortable gait.
Amazing.

(1,232 posts)looking for a calm, submissive dog. Didn't want the cute bouncy playful little terrors that are so enchanting to the un-initiated. I swear I looked at 1000 dogs before finding Kevin. He was so submissive and fearful in fact, once I got him out on the street and tried to gently ease him into the general routine, he was absolutely terrified and I nearly panicked. I didn't want to make any huge mistakes and turn him into a horrifying little scared monster, so I went straight to Cesar Millan's information and bam. He explained how some dogs can be timid by nature, and how to be extra gentle and encouraging with him, so he would be secure in knowing that first, I would protect him, and that he could make mistakes without fearing the outcome. I treated that dog like an absolute baby, carrying him everywhere, never brutally forcing him to try new things, but always encouraging him to face and overcome his fears. By golly it worked, and he is a healthy, happy, very well adjusted little gentleman. Millan's techniques absolutely won the day. Kevin rides the Metro, buses, taxis, cars, trains, and goes everywhere and anywhere, all with confidence and aplomb. I never have to raise my voice to him to correct anything, usually just an eyebrow works, lol.
If you have any doubts or questions about your doggie, I suggest watching everything relative by Cesar Millan. There isn't anyone on this planet who has a better and more natural understanding of dogs. For example, if pup is still chewing things, then google 'Cesar Millan puppy problems chewing'. And bang, there's your solution. LOVE that guy. I only wish I'd had access to his wisdom years ago with earlier dogs in the family.
I wish I had a push button dog like that, but I'm not confident enough to have a dog on the street without a leash. As my pals at Animal Control always said, they never had to pick up a dead dog, hit by a car, that still had his leash on.
