Coon Rapids Burger King employees smash windows after prank call

To the frantic manager of a Coon Rapids Burger King Friday night, the choice was act fast or face disaster.

A caller who said he was a firefighter said there was a gas leak in the building and unless the windows were smashed, a gas buildup in the building would cause an explosion. So the manager and Burger King employees evacuated the restaurant and starting smashing ground floor windows. Every. Single. One.

A screen capture from a video posted on YouTube showed Burger King employees smashing out the Coon Rapids restaurant's windows Friday night.

Compliance is a 2012 American thriller, based on true events, written and directed by Craig Zobel, and starring Ann Dowd, Dreama Walker, and Pat Healy.[3] The plot focuses on a prank caller who pretends to be a police officer and convinces the manager of a fast-food restaurant that one of her employees committed a crime, and gets her to carry out intrusive and unlawful procedures on the employee. It is based on the strip search prank call scam that happened at a Mount Washington, Kentucky McDonald's restaurant in Bullit County.[4] Dowd's performance as Sandra was very positively received and won her the National Board of Review Award for Best Supporting Actress.

A message displayed before the action starts refers to the Milgram experiment, and says that the story, inspired by real events, is so shocking it is hard to believe, but that nothing was exaggerated.
