just about everything from Marvel - however, i was never a big fan of Dr. Strange, even when he teamed up with Spidey or somebody else. However, with this cast, I'm definitely interested.

I'm pretty sure I would have been "m'eh" if anyone other than Cumberbatch was cast. With his casting, I'm now wondering if Strange may force Cap to take a back seat to my favorite of the franchise so far.

(So many Wiki pages to read on each of the particular heroes-- tons of back story and background on these guys!)

Sherlock, the voice of Smaug, Star Trek Into Darkness, the Imitation Game, 12 years a slave, Black Mass, etc.

He came to my attention as Will Pitt the younger (Prime Minister, not DUer) starring opposite Ioan Gruffudd in Amazing Grace.

He and Martin Freeman are all over the place!

This is where Marvel is awesome when it comes to their movies - take a relatively unknown character from the universe, cast all A list actors, pair it with the right writers, and boom, you've got a potentially awesome flick.

This is what Marvel gets right that DC gets so very very wrong. Though I am looking forward to Suicide Squad.

I'm admittedly holding hope for DC and the Justice League franchise. I finally saw the new Superman on Monday and was a bit awed by the almost operatic theme given to it rather than the pithy (but funny) one-liners and sometimes slapstick of Marvel. Maybe DC's Justice League franchise means they've finally found a groove and are ready to give it to us.

(All this is coming from a guy who never read comic books and judges the films as films rather than interpretations of preexisting material)

I tried to like it, I really did. The action scenes were amazing and very well done, but the backstory was a bit of a joke. I can't wait to see Suicide Squad and I'm hoping that it will be much better than what we got with BVS.

Ben Affleck is reportedly going to direct a solo Batman movie. he's had good luck as a director so far.

Batman's supposed to be able to move and beat the shit out of criminals. Instead this Batman looked like it was something out of a Mechwarrior game. If they ditch that suit and give Batman something more agile, then I will definitely be watching.

he was almost like Iron Man even before he fought superman, and then upgraded to almost a Hulkbuster type armor for the big duel against him.
