1. BlackBerry is still the best

I don't even use a computer anymore. BB10 is a great phone whether you choose a real keyboard (Q10, Classic, Passport) or a slab (Z10, Z30, Z3, or Leap). And I suppose I should mention that the Priv is android and both a slab and keyboard phone. I myself will stick with the non-android BB's, the reason I came to BlackBerry in the first place.

I have about all the BB10's and a few *BB7's as well. BB7 is still the best on the go 3G data saver with functionality for streaming audio in places where a 4G / LTE phone cant keep a signal, and yes, they still work, on networks that support BIS (or just on wifi without a simcard if you just want to save on streaming.) BB10's don't need BIS, they can work on the same data plan as existing android phones.

Very sad it looks like they might not be manufacturing phones much longer, at least for the general public. Timing of putting out the BB10 was bad, and a lack of sufficient advertising to try to offset that, and the diminishing selection of apps (and I find the world of apps to be a bit overrated, how many are really used or necessary, and the BB10's can take android apps for people who want them). I only know it's the best choice for me and I do not intend to switch.

I can be free of worry about catching viruses and using data when I'm not using it myself. No creepy bloatware installing itself behind my back, and the phones sell at such a low price now I can have a selection of devices to choose from. So I can have pocket sized or bigger heavier keyboard or no keyboard size, and on heavy streaming audio days I can choose one of the BB7's, which sip rather than slurp my data.
Browsing on the Leap today!

I was hung up on the Bold 9900 remaining my favorite simcard phone, until I got the tiny mighty Q10. Passport's more like a laptop without the lap, I don't like using it as a traveling pocket phone, but it really can do everything I used to need a computer to do. The big-enough screen and big-enough keyboard make it a must-have device for a BlackBerry lover.

I truly believe more people would be buying BlackBerrys if they checked them out instead of hating the brand without knowing it first hand.

I have had an android phone, never again for me.
