On a side note, can't wait to see the new IT. My favorite Stephen King book. And while the 1990 miniseries wasn't bad, you can never truly do the story justice within the confines of network TV.

The horrors of our childhood haunt and shape the rest of our lives - until we face them - with uncertain results.

What a story!

I really enjoyed the miniseries, unforgettable characters! Not exactly the book-ending, though.

As I understand it, Stephen King was pretty disappointed in it too, which is why they're re-making it now. Too many people were left with the impression that IT was nothing more than a giant spider with magical powers. The book makes it quite clear that IT is much, much, more than that.

A very real horror we encounter over and over in the real world.

Part of the genius of this particular Stephen King novel.

I'm not sure who this new guy playing Pennywise is, but he has some big shoes to fill.
