Hurricane Matthew check-in thread.

Looks like we dodged a bullet. I haven't been outside, but it looks like the worst thing that happened was that my land line died.

On a visual, it doesn't look like any major clean-up necessary. Winds appear to be coming from the south and we are well buffered by trees on that side.

Still have power, which really surprises me.

It's staying offshore. That is a good thing.

Thank goodness. All of it is dropping on the east side of the hurricane. Up to 5 inches of rain over there. On this side, the west side, my porch hasn't even flooded.

From news looks like a lot of flooding, downed trees. Ground was already saturated due to Nor'easter sitting off the coast for the last week. Expect lots of trees down. Worse still to come as eye hasn't come all the way up the coast yet. Still off Flagler.
