Do hotels and restaurants get Amber alerts?

The internet sounds as if governments just get it.

We have an acquiantance whose granddaughter is missing and presumed to be a runaway. Do authorities blanket the hotels and fast food places where a teen might pass through?

The AMBER Alert™ Program is a voluntary partnership between law-enforcement agencies, broadcasters, transportation agencies, and the wireless industry, to activate an urgent bulletin in the most serious child-abduction cases. The goal of an AMBER Alert is to instantly galvanize the entire community to assist in the search for and the safe recovery of the child.

She's been found thanks to the Amber Alert. There was a teacher involved.
