I don't drink, in fact I had two glasses of wine last night.

It was the most I've had in years.

I was a little silly, and earlier this morning I had a hangover.
Just from those two glasses of wine last night.

Anyone else here a non-drinker?

would put me to sleep. However, if I want to relax I will have a fourth to a third of a glass (Pinot Noir) is my favorite. It works.

I had about a half glass of white wine at a wedding ten years ago and it gave me a migraine.

In my 20s and early 30s I drank more than my share. Mostly beer, but I had a fair share of cocktails too. I even got on a scotch kick for several months. Every winter, during those years, I'd lose my appetite for beer/booze until it got warm again. Somehow, nearly 20 years ago, in my mid 30s, after a winter of mostly laying off, my taste for it just never returned.

These days I'll have an occasional and rare glass of wine. Mostly after some prodding from my wife. Never more than one glass with maybe as many as 3 glasses over the course of a year. This past year, I'm measuring between birthdays, I had one. Still a few weeks til my birthday so who knows...

Difficult for me to finish one glass of wine. Not for any policy reasons; just not my thing.

And even then, I only drink Scotch.
I'm practically a tea-totaler.

In my recce/fighter pilot days, the best hangover cure was a flight.
100% oxygen for an hour and a half and getting the adrenalin pumping at 500KIAS at 300'.
Or was it 300K at 500'?
I forget.
But at the end of the mission I was absolutely 'cured' and ready to go out that night and do it all over again.
Them was the days.

I'll have a glass of wine about 2 times a year. Our wedding anniversary, and my birthday.

We have two bottles of wine in the refrigerator that our children gave us last year, and we still haven't opened either one! One of these days...

I wasn't really a heavy drinker- about a six pack to a twelve pack a week usually on one of my off days. One day I just realized that I want to do things that make me more conscious and aware and alcohol has the opposite effect. No fuss. It hasn't been difficult and I haven't had any cravings.

You said you don't, and then you said you did.
In the same sentence.
You contradict yourself.

so looks like this makes 25 years.
Not a drop since.
I have told a friend that a Hillary win and I have a beer, but I don't know.
Was going to have one when Obama won but decided not to.
If I break the streak I better have a good reason.

Never missed it at all and never had a craving.
