He was being polite, not even pushy. reward that good behavior, maybe with just a bite at least.
( My dog is sitting next to me, telling me I am saying the right thing.... )

as many times as possible and it always triggers rolling of the eyes with either "for the love of God please stop" or "unbelievable, please excuse my father".


For example entering and arboretum I might pause and ask the warden "How many kinds of trees they have?" and so on until after several minutes I will look directly at the warden and in a goofy high pitched voice ask if they have "the maple kind yeah" keeping a completely straight face while the warden tries to figure out what kind of behavioral condition I might be suffering from.

It's the little things in life that make a difference.
