Hardly any electronics items would have had integrated circuits in 1969.
Books, typewriters, Super-8 cameras. They're all there.

(6,112 posts)I can't find any slippers that aren't scuffs. I need slippers with a back and they just don't seem to be making those anymore. The 1969 clothes leave alot to be desired, though.
Um, hey slipper makers! My heels get cold, too, you know?

(21,847 posts)I looked at the book and the slippers caught my eye. I thought I'd get those slippers. Lots of colors to choose from.

(958 posts)That was the section of the catalog I was familiar with. Girdles for full figured women, I could open it to the exact page.

(17,303 posts)Hadn't seen it in several years and then noticed a few copies on a shelf at a business and picked one up. It was so much thinner than the Wish Books from 30-35 years ago.
Sears is in a world of hurt. Have to wonder how much longer the company will remain solvent.

(1,016 posts)Rural schools had little money so the kids were told to bring the Sear's Catalog and their family Bible to use as text books.

(5,914 posts)Sears and Roebuck used to be THE company in America for anything you could ever need or think you need. You could even buy a house from them that would be delivered to your local train station, ready to assemble.
