Voices popular with Richard Ayoade* to be the new Doctor Who and others calling for....

a woman; Olivia Colman, a busy actor, maybe too busy.

There are many other names being bandied about.

I thought Peter Capaldi was excellent, but he says time to move on and with a new show runner and all.

But then, I adore Mr. Ayoade generally.

I am sad Mr. Capaldi is leaving after this upcoming season. I will miss his grumpiness and eyebrows, also his stylin' wardrobe.

Drama doesn't have to be ugly, people don't always have to die.

Richard Ayoade would be delightful.

A woman doctor would be interesting too, especially a Doctor Who suffering an extreme case of Wait, what, I'm a woman??? for the first season.

This was actually a comedy piece for a British charity TV program called Comic Relief which raises money for projects around the world.

And if you like the combination of Dr Who (in the form of David Tennant) and Comic Relief...

We are looking forward to new Doctor Who...the grandson spends the whole

We love that and hope it never ends.
