Any Opera users suddenly having problems with DU? [updated]

It started last night with DU, DI, and a number of other sites (gocomics.com, seattlepi.com) but not most others. The entire page is displayed in a single, fairly narrow column rather than the usual table display. This has happened sometimes when the server was too busy or the network was massively congested.

Nothing has been updated and nothing has changed on my end that I can think of. I've turned off ghostery and adblock+ but it made no difference.

Firefox is fine, IE renders fine. It's just my favourite Opera which doesn't.

Anybody have any suggestions or similar experience?

Thanks.

ETA: Reboot didn't fix it, and Opera on two Windows 10 machines works fine. This is on Windows 8.1

ETA2 (2/20/2017): A complete uninstall and reinstall and everything is working again.

But it made no difference, sadly. I'm thinking it must be some sort of Java thing, but I can't recall changing anything before last night!

Problem:

DU, DI, seattlepi, sgu, jpr

But these work perfectly:

imdb, Wikipedia, guardian, slashdot, internationalskeptics.com, lots of other major sites using columns and tables.

I finally got tired of using IE and having it crash all the time as well as the massively annoying ads and uninstalled and reinstalled Opera and everything is displaying perfectly again now.

Be careful that the extensions don't uninstall along with the browser but are in a non-working state after you reinstall. You have to explicitly uninstall and reinstall them individually afterwards.

Thus far I've reinstalled adblock+ and ghostery and the problem hasn't recurred yet.
