How a 66 year old walks his dog.........

I'm dating a guy 6 years older than me. This past Friday I was over his home. I met his youngest daughter & her boyfriend. She brought over pizza and we all had a nice time.

At one point his small 15 lb. Dog announced she had to go outside. He put her retractable leash on, opened the front door, closed it, stood by it, held onto the leash and let the leash out so she could walk around the yard.

His daughter, boyfriend and I named it "the old man's dog walk." We did give him credit for not going out in the cold and not deserting his guests.

If I put my dog's leash on she stays in the yard and I just watch her from the window. If I let her out w/o her leash, even though I'm watching her, she will try to visit the neighbors. As long as the leash is on, I guess she thinks I'm not too far behind. Love her to death.

But she is by far the sweetest and most loving. She is my soul mate. If I knew how to post a photo I would.
