Democrats are, on the whole, just nicer people.

I want to be kind to those who voted f or that man, but I know their voted hurt themselves & the country.

over at the Republican discussion forums, they don't give out hearts in February but lumps of coal instead. That's very telling!

In my (probably biased) experience, Liberals demonstrate greater empathy than Conservatives, especially as it pertains to people outside of their immediate demographic and/or social group.

Not sure whether that attitude leads to a more Liberal mindset, or if a Liberal mindset inclines one toward greater empathy...
