I guess the "this has already been posted, but so what" subject line was an invitation for someone to step up and tell me it had already been posted. And if I overreacted, it was basically because in my entire on DU, I've never felt the need to go into someone's thread and post "that's already been posted," and I've seen shit that I've posted show up two and three days after I've initially posted it.

This is a DUer who, in a general sense, enjoys being a prick. I put him on ignore, I took a day off, and feel much better now.

One of the things I really, really, really hate is the Dupe Police. And the thread I deleted was like a Dupe Police Gang Bang. It wasn't enough for one person to be the office of the day...others had to pile on. So I killed the thread and forced them to look for other threads where their sole contribution would be "SOMEONE ALREADY POSTED THAT."
