I got 43 of 50 and they said "Amazing. Are you a professor? If not, you should
consider becoming one."
I am a semi-retired bricklayer. A college drop out.

(13,582 posts)Mostly worked as warehouse labor and rout delivery in the beverage industry. Last ten years for a blood service as a driver.
Would have done far worse on that right out of school. Thousands of hours reading and watching educational shows will eventually get you to a pretty high level.

the site say you should be?

(13,582 posts)I got away with a couple other guesses. Though I was a drop out, I went back briefly and scored an A in college algebra at about 40. Then a new job didn't allow me to continue.
As it stands right now, I think I'm in a job that is untouchable. Even big trouble would make us the last area to be shut down. I make just under 40 large a year but in a low cost of living area. I can't see rolling the dice now for more money at 56. If everything goes well, I'll retire on time and be able to drink beer and fish where I have most of my life.
It kills me that most of us aren't asking much at all but the greedheads would take it all away from us if they could. Not even have the goddamned common courtesy to give me a reach around either! Just for what might be a years worth of yacht gas for them!

(12,132 posts)can I tell my Employer I have a Master's degree? Those get paid more here...
Oh wait, they already know I've only had some community college. And a few task-specific telecom classes.
And a lot of DU.

If you like quizzes and want the time you pend to be meaningful:
http://freerice.com/#/english-vocabulary/1475
The organization that sponsors the quiz gives 10 grains of rice for every correct answer. There are several categories. Mostly easy, but a good way to review basic knowledge.

(25,816 posts)I heard a story that the guy who invented the game of chess (a Persian maybe?)
was asked by the Emperor what he wanted as a reward. He replied that he wanted
one grain of rice on the first square of the chess board, and two grains on the second,
four on the third etc.. The Emperor was surprised how modest his request was.
Until he found out that it was more rice than all the granaries in the nation held.

(16,948 posts)updated version. With the quiz site, I keep wanting to see how many grains of rice there are in a serving. I'm just over 23,000 grains. I haven't signed in for awhile.

The only ones I learned in college were the art questions. LOL

I have a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Library Science and Anthropology. Makes me a good generalist.

(2 posts)I got 45 or 46 out of 50 (I didn't expect to comment about this quiz, so I closed the page). But, I failed out of 4 year school and didn't finish a two year degree at community college. To be fair I have never been able to get myself to classes, but that just means this is almost entirely info you get in high school, or general knowledge you can learn watching Jeopardy or maybe documentaries you find on PBS The Discovery Channel, or maybe IFC, Sundance, or Netflix or something. I wish I had even half the education level they believe me to have. I don't even have an Associates Degree. Can I use this to at least get my bachelor's degree with this.

(32,634 posts)I don't have to click on this one, because I've been suckered in on others just like it.
You click forward to get each question and click again to find out if your answer is right?
On each click they show you another 5 or 6 ads that are all sort of dumbed down.
This is not any kind of intelligence test, the questions are so easy most schoolkids would get them right.
You've been suckered into the parallel universe of clickbait.
