He didn't like being put in the garage at night, so sometimes when we'd call him, he'd get up real slow, like he was hurting, even whimpering to further the mirage. then he'd slowly limp to the door. The thing was he'd forget after he went up the steps which leg he'd been limping on and switch to the other one. We'd laugh at him and call him out and he'd switch back to the other leg. Such a beautiful dog and sweet faker, I miss him still.

We'd call him "Mr. Deef". Couldn't hear his name from one foot away, but could hear the crackle of a package of cheese being opened from the other side of the house.

He was a good dog and I miss him.

I asked her this reminds me of buddy are golden retriever. Who never wants to disappoint us we actually joke and say bud e dog thinks he is a furry human , there are moments where we catch him in action like digging a hole or just being a dog and he is so funny, he comes to us moaning oh guys I do not know what got into me , We love him and say it is ok mister.

I had a Basset who was just like that. He'd always give me that "why, I'm just as shocked as you are" look whenever he was caught doing the wrong thing.

He was a character. Unfortunately, I lost almost all photos of him during a move a few years ago; but he looked a lot like this:

"Oh, oh. Act cool; maybe he'll blame the Shar-Pei."[/center]
