Amazon is now using regular cars

We ordered an item, we are on "prime" so it arrived on Saturday and we were surprised to see a regular car pulled in the driveway with our package.

Yesterday on the news there was a security video of someone walking into a porch with a box - later found empty - and swapping it for a box left there earlier.

Maybe they use other vehicles as well, but I see the van a lot.

at home. I swear some dro off late evenings with no attempt to contact
Also like with uber vs taxi , some drivers are not familiar with some sites that usps, fed ex or ups know are common. One called us and could not find our business for a package when delivery was during business hours because it is just a mail box # at a Fed ex store in a mall. The person was looking for that business The post office and ups drop off truck loads of packages send mail at that location and we never had a problem 10 years ,including Amazon via ups etc, except for Amazon freelance contractors driving thier own vehicles.
I'm gonna guess it is shitty pay too

It could be dangerous in the wrong place (FL ?) for the delivery person and/or the customer.
