Season 3 is greenlighted.

This show has a 'Babylon 5/Battlestar Galactica 2.0' feel to it.

Glad to see fans putting something like that together! Hit a bunch of epic scenes and what a perfect context!

That's not exactly fan based editing, though. It's exceedingly professional work, possibly by a fan in the industry who is using this as what amounts to an audition tape for directing or editing on this show and/or others.
