Deception and Splitting Up Together join ABCs 2017-18 schedule

ABC has added two more new series, one drama and one comedy, to its roster of newcomers for next season.
The drama is “Deception,” about an illusionist (Jack Cutmore-Scott) whose career is ruined by scandal but gets a chance to redeem himself — by teaming up with the FBI. The bureau recruits him to stage illusions that will help catch criminals.
Chris Fedak (“Chuck,” “Forever”) created the series and executive produces with Greg Berlanti, Martin Gero (“Blindspot”) and Sarah Schechter. Illusionist David Kwong is a co-producer.
The cast also includes Ilfenesh Hadera, Lenora Crichlow, Amaury Nolasco, Justin Chon, Laila Robins and Vinnie Jones.
