New TV show coming to NBC : "Midnight, Texas"

Looking forward to this one, it is based on a new series by Charlaine Harris of Sookie Stackhouse fame.

Midnight is a crossroads town in Texas which is a sort of supernatural/paranormal community out in the middle of nowhere. New guy moves to town and meets the interesting citizens. Loved the book; waiting for cheap copies of the sequels to come out!

I've read several of her books and thought they would make for good viewing. I would love to hear what you think of it. Pop over to the "What are you reading this week" discussion some time and mention it, if you would be so inclined.

Meanwhile, allow me to introduce you to thriftbooks.com. Put Charlaine's name in the search bar and I think you will be quite pleased with the results.

Just the right combo of interesting people, and creepy creatures.

Thanks for the background information.

I love that premise, like "Twin Peaks," "X-Flies," and "The Leftovers." I even liked "Wayward Pines" at first before the zombie attacks.
