So. Had my first day at the new job.

So it is like most normal firsts days. Trying to get you log in. Not in the system. Badge number is someone else's badge number because IT got confused with the new girl who has a name

Computer log in didn't come in until 2 pm. can't skype because the last person had my desk didn't log out of skype so computer refuse to let me in. IT finally got it straight.

watch people do what I will be doing in the job. Explaining put this (tech term) into line 5 enter fancy number on line 8 hit enter. Search data base J for Fancy ID number for product XYZ known as XYZ by everyone else outside of company.

And of course New Co-workers you'll get the hang of it once you start doing it.

My brain

Typical first day....

Anyone else every had that type of experience.

its always like that the first few days for most new people. You have to get set up which, at my place takes at least a week of various paperwork and training.
