My goodness. It's like I'm living in stereo. Re: HOA woes.

On one side is the national political developments coming from the television, and on the other side it appears board members of my HOA are meeting without a properly noticed meeting that is advertised to all residents.

I just don't get it. How do people with hefty positions in the community think that it's okay to cut corners when it comes to due process? When information is controlled illegally in a community, two things that I don't think anyone will approve of is singling someone out, i.e. discrimination; or it's counter-part, forcing people to share in collective punishment when important information was withheld from them.

I wonder if the national drama is encouraging an increase in bad practices on the local level?

They got there by cutting corners, and they think that the more corners they cut, the better off they'll be.

Successful criminals know when to quit.

Unsuccessful criminals...well...

First, because it was a local government and they were misappropriating public funds. They could have improved their chances if they had set up public-private partnerships and spread the wealth and power with the community leaders and the appointed "ambassadors" that are nothing better than goons.

Never fails to surprise me how the usual suspects like to keep an eye on people who come into this community to enjoy recreational activities with their friends, even if they have to pull in cronies from outside to do it. LOL!
