(21,988 posts)Mowing and smelling freshly cut grass sounds wonderful.
The allergies must make it a bitch.

(10,381 posts)No idea where you live and if this would even be a viable option. I have a big ass (normal Midwest sized?) Pretty much empty lawn. Most of it is not nice manicured lawn. I'm going to move to native plants, perennials, native grasses, wildflowers, and a small vegetable garden. My goal is to reduce my lawn as much as possible. A benefit will be more birds, butterflies, bugs, spiders and other wildlife. I don't like wasting water on a lawn. You would think with all the resources online I could find some free plans out there somewhere, but I'm having a hard time.

(16,538 posts)my lawn needs a cut too, along with a sidewalk edging and a weed whacking around the beds.
I'll pay you $20.00 american fiat money if you do a nice job and don't complain.
