https://www.moviepass.com/I know nothing besides this OP. For more info, please read the website. Seems like a good deal to me ? Apparently AMC Theaters, per dead-tree Maximum PC November 2017 edition, is unhappy with it.
eta per the magazine:
MoviePass faces problems from within the industry, too, including a spat with AMC Theaters, the largest chain in the country, which is reportedly looking for a way to block MoviePass subscriptions. It claims the deal is 'shaky and unsustainable'
The other problems the magazine allude to are: crashed websites, delayed delivery of membership cards, smartphone usage problems, and "the app has also proved to be awkward, demanding, and unpopular"

(3,613 posts)1. Works fine with some stipulations
You are charged immediately, card arrives in 2 months and you are charged the next time after you have used it a month.
90%+ of movie theatres take it, not 100%.
2D films only.
Not supposed to work with loyalty programs
Need to check in via smartphone while physically at theatre and buy ticket within 29 minutes.
Zero customer service.

(3,613 posts)3. One movie per day
About 20% of the people on the Internet hate it.
Because
For $10 they should give me...unlimited movie daily
For $10 they should give me...free popcorn and candy
For $10 they should give me...tickets for my kids
For $10 they should give me...the ability to buy tickets in advance
For $10 they should give me...the ability to see IMAX
For $10 they should give me...
