but some of these are cute. BTW, I think that first one should have been labeled a spider chipmunk.

I guess the person who made it thought spider squirrel sounded better.


Some spiders are cuter than others. The cute small ones jump though, so...

he/she didn't know the difference between a squirrel and a chipmunk. Either way, it was still cute. My worst nightmare is the one lurking under the bed....

I can't remember a time when I wasn't afraid of spiders. I had no idea it is instinctual. Good to know.

You can check them out in google images
They are about the size of my palm, happily they don't move around much, just stay in the web.
Not only are they cool to look at, but their webs are actually golden, and in the sunlight they shine and shimmer.
this year we have had a lot of them around the house, and in the yard. They disappear when the weather turns chilly, leaving the lovely webs to dance in the breeze until they too disappear, in shreds.

I found a huge black spider in the barn yesterday; moved it carefully out of my way so it could continue to eat the despised flies.
