I've seen this circulated on Facebook. Two things strike me: 1) it's unverifiable and 2) everything happened the same day.

1. The DA said he had a clean record.

I don't see any reason to doubt that. I suspect a hoax is being perpetrated.

who-so-ever's record this is likely committed all of those offenses in one fell swoop. Sorta like getting charged with carjacking and assault and grand larceny and attempted murder because you stole a car by punching the driver and flinging him in the road where he might have been killed. It's all one event, but there are a lot of chunks associated with it.

Maybe whoever did this burgled a place while carrying a gun, and punched, hit or kicked (or even shot 'em in the foot or something) someone in the place while carrying a gun. Bada bing, as Pauly Walnuts would say....

Pretty common name.

I was skeptical and searched the case.net site for Missouri and found the record 13SL-CR12675-01 - ST V MICHAEL R BROWN, from which these charges originated. You can readily find this too, by searching for case number 13SL-CR12675-01. Note that the defendant in this case lives in Troy, MO, which is 47 miles from Ferguson, MO, according to Google Maps. Also note that the defendant was born in 1997, which would make him 17, rather than 18. It's safe to say that these charges are being falsely attributed and the person spreading this is libeling Mike Brown.

7. In Missouri that is easy enough to look up as public record unless he was a juvenile.

Since there was an OCN whoever was arrested, detained, or there was a warrant for arrest. Look up on "casenet"; right now casenet is down will look in later. Search Michael Brown enter the date it would be public record. These are public court records and are not redacted even if deceased.

Follow up
I looked up the date of these charges under the implied name there is no record on casenet. These are adult charges so it should be on casenet. If this actually happened I am sure the Police Chief would have touted the arrest. Another rumor attributed to a young man now deceased.

9. You still get charged as adult I believe at 15 or 16 some statutes earlier.

Obviously Michael Brown had no record the store where he was alleged to have stolen cigars did not call 911 or make a complaint. Police came into the store and asked for recording. The 911 call was made by a customer in the store. Local media reported this. I think national media is sitting on it for now.
