Wish the show would travel here! What a thrill to see his works for real.

Your painting is beautiful and it echoes VanGogh with the brush stroke heavy rendering for sure. I love the concept. Very nicely done!

The main focus of the show is how Americans embraced Van Gogh before Europe did. And the DIA was the first museum to purchase on of his paintings.

Right before the pandemic hit, I was lucky enough to see the DaVinci exhibition at the Cleveland Museum of Art. I could have stayed there all afternoon looking at his incredible renderings. Back in those days, they even made their own charcoal pencils.

A friend recommended this tv show. It's streaming for free and is supposed to be great. I haven't watched it yet.

My husband stopped watching after 3 episodes because he
didn't like the actor playing Leonardo, but I had no problem
with him.

The painting he did of hid bedroom is one of my favorite paintings! It amazes me every time I see it and it inspires me! Your painting reminds me of Van Gogh’s paintings. He used to put on the paint and seemed to wield the brush in a passionate frenzy. Always keeping it within the outlines which made me believe he was a precursor of the Abstract Expressionist time. His paintings show that the medium he used was as important and central as the subject or any other aspect of his paintings.

This is a wonderful homage to him!
