I absolutely love your paintings. I think your paintings definitely fall into three categories that are each quite unique and really compelling on many levels. I do wish that you would post more often because I see that when you do your website shows many recent paintings.

Your minimalist paintings are a perfect expression in art and they simply grab my attention and make me marvel. They make me want to hold my breath lest I somehow mess them up. It is probably the same way you feel when you see a Harry Callahan photo.

Your buildings could easily become vintage art of your little town in the future. The colors, as usual are fantastic and the details freeze it in time. A time I think may not last very long. I hope you can sell those. I can see them easily being considered historical pieces of a place and time in Americana. These paintings of yours talk about life there. To an outsider like me they are compelling in the story they tell. It’s a story I have never experienced directly in my life, and I never will, except through the gift of your paintings.

And then there is your love of objects in and of themselves, like the cameras, your fishbowl and still life’s and the added unrelated objects. Each painting draws the viewer’s attention, making one want to figure it out. Making one be just satisfied at the puzzlement.

Don’t ever feel you need to limit yourself in any way. Your paintings are a treasure!

I've never had anyone analyze my paintings like you do! It's so encouraging! I post my paintings a couple times a week. I'm also on Instagram, but without the backstory of each painting. I'm glad you enjoy them. Visit my blog from time to time, as I'm constantly updating it!

When I look at Twisted Sisters and Snow Shoes I imagine you being struck by the beauty of what you're looking at. It's the best part of painting, isn't it--to have your eyes opened and see beauty wherever you are, regardless of whether you've got a paint brush in your hand.
