You did a great job with the trunk and tree branches details with the Impressionism of the fall colors exploding in the background. It’s a beautiful and inviting painting with the path curving into the thicket of orange, yellow and the red heart of the forest. Your post fence balances the tree and emphasizes the lure of the inviting path. And your detailed leaves at the top help make the tree one of the focal spots in the painting.

The composition is excellent and seems perfectly balanced because it keeps the viewer’s interest as each area of the picture draws attention to itself. Everywhere you look is interesting and vital and equally important.

I only wish I could see it better. I use Photobucket so I don’t understand why your photograph has their watermark. None of mine do.
