1. Mini Brian Keith festival.

Daytime offerings of Brian Keith films showcase his movie career in supporting and starring roles before his success in the TV series 'Family Affair".

Handsome and gruff voiced he was an active Republican and the son of actor Robert Keith who is probably best known as the exasperated police detective in 'Guys And Dolls" (1955).

Suffering from emphysema and lung cancer he took his own life at age 76.

...to see if TCM was giving a nod to him by their schedule. But as is often the case, the day of the year had nothing to do with the presence of a particular actor in multiple movies.

I had forgotten Brian Keith died by his own hand. Very sad.
