...back in the 1980's

There were so many methods and threads and options for expression in this piece. It took me years, but there was one moment when I performed it, that my piano instructor, Joanne, had tears. I will likely never perform it again, but that memory was a pinnacle.

She always drilled me with, "Learn the fingering and the notes, then the timing, then the expression, and then yourself."
