I am cross-posting this thread about a doll I have, in the hopes that someone here may know more

about flour/sugar/grain sack dolls. (It's at the bottom of the thread about my house and yard.) http://www.democraticunderground.com/1018104425

I've looked them up before, but the only dolls I found were from the 30s and 40s and looked like Campbell's soup kids. Not at all like my Charlotte.

From the fabric, I would guess your doll is from around 1890 to 1910. sinkingfeeling Apr 2012 #1
