When I turn people on to that song, I use this more recent live version by Brit rocker Dave Edmunds that features members of Booker T's MGs, including the great Steve Cropper on guitar: It's basically the same band from The Blues Brothers. Nick Lowe wrote it, but Edmunds released it first.
Dave plays a nice solo here:

The upfront acoustic guitar, the cascading vocals, the overall jangly feel. Excellent.
