Fripp to reform King Crimson...

http://www.dgmlive.com/diaries.htm?artist&show&member=3&entry=24091

At the bottom of the page, in Robert Fripp's usual cryptic prose:

ManTime in the Home Study. Discussed: the Point Of Seeing for a Future Crim with three drummers. At 18.55 Bill declared his participation. So, at 18.55 King Crimson VIII moved to its next stage of actualization.

snip

So, King Crimson is in motion. This is a very different reformation to what has gone before: seven players, four English and three American, with three drummers.

The Seven-Headed Beast of Crim is in Go! mode.

No real word on who is in yet, but a previous diary entry mentions Fripp made an important call to T Lev. According to Tony, the call made his day, week and year. Which makes one assume Tony Levin is in.

Edit: Also of note, he is not referring to Bill Bruford in the snippet above, but possibly Bill Rieflin.

But Gavin Harrison is one of the best drummers out there, and with Tony, Pat and Mel there are links to all eras of Crim. Be interested to see how Rieflin fits in.
