8. When I was young there was a 3 year stretch where Elton was basically the beatles

He put out 5 albums in 3 years and had a different top 40 song on the charts basically the whole time.

He was in-escapable (Unescapable? Escape Proof?)

But unlike most over played pop rock acts (Fuck you Journey) I still love Elton John

Not really a slow jam, but a great Elton piano jam/vocal performance

Also has the line "subway is no way for a good man to go down".

Which in retrospect is fucking hilarious
