The Promise -- When in Rome -vs- Superfruit (Which version is your favorite?)

"The Promise" is a song by the British band When in Rome. First released in 1987 on 10 Records,[3] the song is the lead single from their self-titled debut album. It was written by all three band members: Clive Farrington, Andrew Mann and Michael Floreale. The song was released in the U.S. in 1988 and made it to number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It is the band's biggest commercial hit.

Superfruit (Scott Hoying & Mitch Grassi) covered the song in 2019 and released it as a single
