A band with a banjo and a washboard?? I guarantee you'll love them

I only discovered Elephant Revival a couple of days ago. They're a group out of Colorado that combines folk, bluegrass, Celtic and American Roots with a distinctively modern sound, joyous and soul soothing. Pure magic, enjoy!

That's a string band. You've got them everywhere across the USA. Maybe only those into old time American Traditional are aware of them. :shrug;

Always fascinates me that over there, I'm UK, you have the habit from time to time of losing sight of your own great music heritage. Classic example was Canned covering this with most oblivious to the original :

I'm very well aware of American music from roots to bluegrass and folk. The question marks were for those who may never venture outside of hip-hop or rock. And you must admit, there aren't many string bands that can claim a washboard (and bongo) maestro like Bonnie Paine.
