Some women were dolled up in sequins with bouffant hair, like Vegas. It surprised me but shouldn't have, the way it is.

Wow, she's 86 now and still touring! Ten shows in May in Australia, two coming up in Montreal & Toronto.

Voice isn't what it used to be but she still put on a very enjoyable show.

(9,993 posts)9. This was at the Birchmere in Alexandria.
Sometime prior to that, a friend saw her at the Rams Head in Annapolis (I've seem many great shows, mostly "vintage" musicians, at both places). He said she wasn't that good and advised my husband and me not to go to the Birchmere show - but then he sent this video to my husband. After he watched it, hubby told me to make reservations!
