(35,098 posts)2. I was in Las Vegas with some friends
long ago at a nursing conference and we were looking for something to do. Roger Miller was playing at one of the casinos and the other half of the show was Gabe Kaplan. Great show. We knew who Miller was after all the silly songs that had played on the radio over the years but were really amazed at how good he really was. I would guess it was around 1982 or 83. I did not know he covered this song. Not his best.
