1. a few years ago my wife bought me tickets to "An evening with David Lindley"

And we had a great night - It was an all acoustic show that included dinner

He played a few songs on the Oud, a few on lap steel acoustic guitars and a few on a odd baritone Turkish banjo looking thing,

Here he is playing country blues on an Oud



Edited to add - That instrument is called a Bouzouki here he is doing some bluegrass on one

Of the rock era. After seeing this post I was inspired to listen to Jackson Browne’s Late For The Sky. David’s guitar work on this song fits perfectly.
