For anyone who doesn't know the story behind this song they should check it out. Heard and got to me the DKM's at Fenway when they opened for Foo Fighters a couple years ago. Great guys and extremely down to earth.

Seems to back up your thoughts on the lads in my eyes.
I just recently started getting into them seriously. I'm gonna have to find out when they'll be in Chicago again...

That's from Fenway that night. It was a rainy "pissah" to start the night. If you could zoom in over the visitors dugout, you'd see me and my wife. FF's came out and played two hours straight after that...even in the rain. It was an awesome anniversary gift from my wife!!

I bet that was a fantastic show!

I played in Boston a few years back. I didn't get a chance to check out the city, we were only there one night, in February. I'll say this much, I've never experienced cold like that. And I'm from Chicago!

We lived close to Boston for a few years. The winter of 2015 was one of the worst on record. We got our first real snow, 24", the week before the Super Bowl, which the Pats won, and we didn't see the grass again until late April!! We had zero spring that year and when it finally hit 45, my son, who was 5 at the time, was pissed when we wouldn't let him wear shorts!!! "But daddy it's warm out and the sun is shining!!" Damn I miss New England, but I don't miss the bitter cold!

We played this cool theatre who's name escapes me. The owner told us that if Aerosmith hadn't been on the road, we'd have met Stephen Tyler! Apparently, according to her, he never missed the tribute acts that came into town. How crazy is that?

She said he'd always come backstage and compliment the better acts. And dare I say, we were very very good.

Would have loved to chat w/him. Early aerosmith was a big influence on me. Back in the hair band days, my mix stand could collapse under the weight of the scarves!

I've got the flu, but that won't keep an Irishman from knocking back a few!

I'm in the process of changing jobs and I'm looking at anywhere between a 35-50k increase!

I'll be able to get my own rose tattoo soon. Although in all seriousness, I've been really toying with getting the Kelly crest inked... Don't know where yet, back, arm. Probably somewhere visible. Ain't no pride like Irish pride!

Hope life is treating you well these days too.

We're actually headed to Ireland for the first time this summer. I'm stoked about that! Getting to visit the area my family came from will be totally surreal. We have a family cemetery in Tipperary and I hope to pay respects to my great great grandparents there!

Your tattoo ideas sound great. I think my next tattoo will be an Irish American flag, although my wife is trying to convince me to get a "couple's tattoo" like a lock and key or matching arrows...we'll see.

Congrats on the new job!!
