He's put on some weight. I remember seeing him play about 20 years ago 1991 or 1992 at a $5 show at a VFW hall. He improvised a song about a real corner store in our neighborhood called Jesus Grocery. The store was really pronounced the Spanish way HAY-SOOS. But Mojo Nixon didn't know that I guess so he pronounced it G-SUS grocery. We all thought it was pretty funny.
